Opening reception Saturday, April 14, 6 to 9 pm during Spring for Art!

I am pleased to announce the opening of an exhibition of which I am the chairperson: il•lus•trate will showcase the artwork of five working illustrators from around the country. These include Shiho Pate, an illustrator for Cartoon Network’s online games; Chris Hsu, illustrator for The Boo‐Boos that Changed the World and Appleseed Magazine; Britt Spencer, illustrator of three children’s books and the graphic novel Journey By Starlight; Lindsay Ryden, designer of the humorous Real Life Musings greeting cards and illustrator of Frank the Chair Visits Kansas; and Hannah Gumbo, illustrator of the upcoming The Book That Wanted to Be Red. These artists bring characters, stories, and emotions to life through both traditional and digital media with their unique styles of art-making. Jan and Tim Lantrip Private Art Collection Exhibition

One of my pieces, "St. Joan", will be on display at Covington’s Gallery at City Hall as part of the exhibition of The Jan and Tim Lantrip Private Art Collection. The public is invited to attend an Opening Reception on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, located at Covington City Hall, 317 North Jefferson Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433.

Local business owners and art collectors Jan and Tim Lantrip are generously sharing works created by St. Tammany Parish artists with the residents of the city of Covington. This exhibition representing the Lantrip’s private collection expresses their passion for local artists and support of the importance of the arts to local communities. Mayor Cooper encourages all who visit City Hall to enjoy this special exhibition.

Hope to see you there!
