Our Lady of Champion is the only approved Marian apparition in the United States. Our Lady appeared to Adele Brice in the fall of 1859, in Champion, Wisconsin, and instructed her to “Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation.” Her parting words to Adele were “Go and fear nothing, I will help you.”
